Agartala, July 22, 2025. Justice Mamidanna Satya Ratna Sri Ramachandra Rao on Tuesday took oath as the new Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court. The oath of office and secrecy was administered by Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Agartala.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, members of the state cabinet, Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, and sitting judges of the High Court, including Justice T. Amarnath Goud and Justice Biswajit Palit, among other dignitaries.
Justice Rao succeeds in taking charge of the state’s top judicial position, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his earlier judicial and legal service.
