Manipur: Azad Higher Secondary School Students Flagged Off For National Integration Tour

Students and teachers of Azad Higher Secondary School, Yairipok, were filled with pride as the Indian Army’s 44 Mountain Brigade, under the Red Shield Division, flagged off a National Integration Tour under Operation Sadbhavana. The 10-day tour, scheduled from 10 to 20 November 2025, features 20 students and two teachers who will travel to Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

The initiative aims to promote national integration and support the Army’s vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.” The tour is designed to strengthen unity, encourage mutual understanding and build patriotic spirit by exposing young participants to India’s cultural and regional diversity. The journey began in Imphal and will cover Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Students will visit key defence establishments, scientific institutions and cultural landmarks.

Teachers described the tour as a rare and valuable learning opportunity that will widen the students’ perspectives, build leadership qualities and motivate them to contribute to nation-building. Students expressed strong enthusiasm and readiness to embrace the experience, reflecting the theme of unity and patriotism.
