Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar S, accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mualnuam Thangboi Gangte, conducted a spot inspection and review of ongoing NHIDCL projects along NH-102B.

During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner expressed dissatisfaction over the slow pace of work, particularly in Package 4A and 4B between Songtal and Tuivai Bridge. He directed NHIDCL officials to step up execution on a war-footing, stressing the need to utilise the State’s limited working season effectively. He also instructed that works under Package 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B be completed with a focus on achieving maximum physical progress within the available timeframe.

Later in the day, the Deputy Commissioner chaired a District Review Meeting at the Mualnuam Sub-Divisional Headquarters. The meeting was attended by ADC Mualnuam Thangboi Gangte, ADC Churachandpur Seiminthang Lenthang, District Level Officers (DLOs) from various departments and NHIDCL representatives.

During the meeting, DLOs presented departmental reports and highlighted progress and achievements through presentations on various schemes and programmes. The review emphasised the need for coordinated inter-departmental efforts to ensure timely implementation of development works across the district.

The programme concluded with a dinner hosted by ADC Mualnuam Thangboi Gangte.
