Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Friday chaired a Cabinet meeting at the State Secretariat, where key matters concerning administration and governance were discussed with a focus on strengthening a citizen-centric system rooted in transparency and accountability.
During the meeting, the Cabinet held comprehensive deliberations on several important administrative issues and adopted a number of decisions for implementation. The Chief Minister stated that the decisions reflect the government’s continued commitment to reinforcing policies and practices aimed at promoting peace, security, and inclusive development across the state.
He noted that such initiatives are essential for ensuring stability, sustainable growth, and the overall prosperity of Manipur. The government, he added, remains dedicated to building a stronger and more progressive state for the welfare of every citizen.
Khoibu Tribe Union Delegation Calls on Chief Minister
Earlier in the day, a delegation of the Khoibu Tribe Union called on Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh at the Secretariat in Imphal.
During the meeting, the delegation extended warm courtesies to the Chief Minister and felicitated him with the presentation of a traditional crown.
Expressing his appreciation for the gesture, the Chief Minister reiterated that the government places the highest priority on inclusive development and ensuring that every community progresses together in peace, dignity, and harmony.
He also assured the delegation that the concerns and aspirations of the Khoibu Tribe would continue to receive due attention and constructive engagement from the government.
