Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand has directed all concerned officials to remain on high alert and take immediate coordinated measures following heavy rains and hailstorms that have affected several parts of Manipur, causing hardship to many families.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said relief and response teams have been instructed to act swiftly to ensure that essential assistance, including relief materials and basic necessities, reaches affected people without delay. He added that the concerned departments are closely monitoring the situation and working on the ground to support affected households.
