Yumnam Khemchand extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Manipur on the occasion of National Immunization Day 2026.
In his message, the Chief Minister highlighted this year’s theme, “Immunization for All is Humanly Possible,” stressing the crucial role vaccines play in protecting lives, preventing diseases and building healthier communities. He also noted that the day commemorates the historic milestone of the first administration of the oral polio vaccine, which marked a major step forward in safeguarding public health.
Khemchand called on people to strengthen their collective commitment to ensure that every child and citizen has access to life-saving vaccines. He urged the public to support immunization efforts through awareness, participation and cooperation with health authorities.
Expressing hope for a healthier future, the Chief Minister said that universal immunization can be achieved through joint efforts and community participation, and wished the people a meaningful National Immunization Day.
