Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh attended the One Day State Level Workshop on Vibrant Villages Programme–II as Chief Guest at Sangai Hall, Hotel Imphal, in the presence of senior officials and distinguished dignitaries.
Emphasising the need for a strong security–development synergy, the Chief Minister stated that a focused and comprehensive approach is crucial to ensuring robust security while simultaneously advancing development in border regions. He highlighted that empowering border villages, along with strengthening infrastructure and livelihood opportunities, is pivotal for enhancing national security and integration, given the strategic importance of these areas.
He further reiterated that increased cooperation, active public participation, and inclusive development in border areas would strengthen the collective security framework and contribute to building a stronger and more united nation.
