Manipur CM Meets NPO Delegation, Reaffirms Commitment To Peace And Inclusive Development

Yumnam Khemchand on Monday met a delegation of the Naga People’s Organisation (NPO) led by its President, Peter Kuba, at the Secretariat.

The meeting was described as constructive and forward-looking, with discussions focusing on strengthening peace, mutual understanding and inclusive development across the State.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister reaffirmed his firm commitment to upholding the dignity and aspirations of every community in Manipur. He emphasised the need to collectively phase out distrust and negativity and work towards fostering harmony among all sections of society.

Stressing the importance of unity, he expressed confidence that all 36 communities of the State can move forward together in an atmosphere of cooperation, joy and shared prosperity.

The Chief Minister further called for continued dialogue and collaboration to realise the shared vision of a peaceful and Viksit Manipur.
