Speaking at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat during the distribution of financial benefits to labour card holders, the CM addressed growing concerns about false information being used to fuel tensions between communities in the state.

Biren Singh on Wednesday distributed financial benefits to labour card holders under the Special Scheme for Providing Financial Assistance for the Education of Children of Labour Card Holders residing in relief camps.
The scheme aims to support displaced families by ensuring uninterrupted education for their children through financial aid, as well as providing maternity benefits, medical reimbursements, pension schemes, and other welfare measures.
A total of ₹2.89 crore was disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT) and cash payments. Addressing the initiative, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring undeterred access to education for all children in the state, including those affected by displacement.

As part of the initiatives, Rs 5,000 each will be distributed to 5,225 displaced individuals currently residing in relief camps, while 80 others will receive Rs 10,000 in financial assistance.
This aid is part of a broader relief plan aimed at offering immediate support to families displaced during the crisis. CM Biren Singh reassured the public that the government remains committed to providing essential services and exploring long-term rehabilitation measures.
