Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Tuesday visited RIMS Hospital along with BJP Manipur Pradesh president Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi and several MLAs to enquire about the condition of those injured in the recent incident at Litan in Ukhrul district.

In a Facebook post, the Chief Minister said the state government has assured all necessary medical care and support to the affected families. He stated that the incident, which arose out of a misunderstanding, is now under control, and appealed to all communities to exercise restraint, uphold the rule of law, and maintain peace and harmony.

The Chief Minister also wished a speedy recovery to all those injured.
