Security forces on Thursday apprehended two individuals, Mrs. Chingsen (36) and Mr. L. Pausuanlal Simte (38), at Mata village in Churachandpur district. The duo was caught in possession of a significant haul of illegal substances and cash.

The seizure included 208 soap cases of brown sugar, 1,73,000 WY/Yaba tablets, and ₹3,37,500 in cash, all recovered from a four-wheeler vehicle.

A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to uncover more details regarding the drug trafficking operation.
