Security forces arrested five individuals during an operation at Tadubi Check Post under Tadubi Police Station in Senapati district. The arrested persons have been identified as Azhani Amos (35), Pavei Peter (25), and Trioa Sabastain, all from Tunggam village; Phokrehri from Makhan village; and K. Athini Sarah (43) from Makhrelui village in Senapati district.

From their possession, security personnel seized 2.057 kilograms of brown sugar, two white Gypsy vehicles bearing registration numbers NL06C1733 and NL06C0001, along with eight mobile phones.

Following investigation, one Mrs. Kimneilam Haokip of Kangpokpi, who was allegedly involved in the smuggling of the contraband items, was also arrested.
