Security forces on Monday apprehended four cadres of SOREPA (Socialist Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak) near Border Pillar 79 at Pangal Basti along the Indo-Myanmar Border under Moreh Police Station in Tengnoupal District.

During the operation, authorities recovered a smartphone along with three SIM cards from the suspects’ possession.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Leishangthem Somorjit Singh alias Lemba (34), Pebam Malemnganba Singh alias Lamnganba (18), Laishram Nelson Singh alias Phirepa (22) and Ningthoujam Milan Meitei alias Khamba (25).

A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway.
