The Government of Manipur has launched GovConnect Manipur, a digital grievance redressal portal aimed at strengthening citizen-centric governance by providing a convenient, transparent, and efficient platform for addressing public grievances.
The portal was inaugurated today at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, Manipur, by the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur in the presence of the Chief Secretary, Administrative Secretaries, and other senior officials of the state government.
GovConnect Manipur is designed to integrate seamless grievance registration with modern digital tools. It enables citizens to lodge complaints online 24×7, receive instant confirmation with a unique tracking ID, and follow real-time updates on the status of their grievances. The system is linked with WhatsApp for easy access and notifications, while its integration with the eOffice platform ensures swift, paperless routing of complaints to the concerned departments.
The portal also introduces automatic escalation mechanisms for unresolved cases, ensuring accountability and timely resolution. By eliminating the need for physical visits to government offices, it provides citizens with greater convenience through multi-channel access.
Speaking at the launch, the Governor of Manipur described the initiative as a transformative step in governance. “The launch of GovConnect Manipur marks a transformative leap for our administration. By embracing digital technologies, we reaffirm our commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsive governance for every citizen of Manipur. I encourage all citizens to make full use of this portal and help us build a more effective and people-friendly government,” the Governor said.
