Imphal, July 11: Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Union Minister of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, jointly chaired a high-level review meeting today to assess the progress of major development projects being implemented in the state under the Ministry of DoNER and the North Eastern Council (NEC).

The review meeting focused on priority sectors critical to Manipur’s socio-economic growth, including handloom and handicrafts, Polo promotion, tourism, connectivity, palm oil cultivation, logistics infrastructure, investment promotion, and the Vibrant Village Development programme.

During the session, Governor Bhalla urged officials to fast-track implementation of these projects and ensure visible, on-ground outcomes. He emphasized that accelerated execution is key to achieving holistic and inclusive development in Manipur.
