Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, today inaugurated the newly constructed Lamangdong Ima Keithel at Bishnupur district headquarters. He was accorded a warm welcome by Bishnupur MLA Govindas Konthoujam, Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, officials, and members of the public. Following the inauguration, the Governor inspected the market sheds.

Later, accompanied by the First Lady, the Governor visited the Sadu Chiru Waterfall in Kangpokpi district, adjoining Bishnupur. The couple admired the scenic beauty of the site. The Sadu Chiru Village Authority, led by its representatives, welcomed the Governor and submitted a memorandum seeking government support for the reopening of the tourist spot.

The Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Kangpokpi district, along with other officials, were also present during the visit.
