In a gesture underscoring the enduring values of peace and non-violence, Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Sunday inaugurated the newly renovated Mahatma Gandhi Park at M.G. Avenue, Thangal Bazar.

During the ceremony, the Governor paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, reaffirming the timeless significance of the Father of the Nation’s teachings and ideals.

Also in attendance at the event was local MLA Kh. Joykishan Singh, who joined the Governor in honoring Gandhi’s legacy and celebrating the park’s rejuvenation as a public space promoting harmony and reflection.
