Manipur Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, held a series of meetings with various delegations at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, addressing their concerns and proposals.

A team from the Ex-Autonomous District Councils (ADCs) Association, led by David K Shimray and comprising seven other members, called on the Governor to submit a memorandum highlighting their grievances and requesting specific welfare measures. The Governor assured the delegation that their concerns would be reviewed.

In a separate meeting, Md. Yunus Khan and members of the Wheelchair Basketball Association of Manipur met the Governor to seek approval for using the Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium or other suitable venues for practice sessions. The team also informed the Governor about their upcoming participation in a national-level tournament to be held in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

Later in the evening, HG Ekanath Das, Zonal Secretary for North East ISKCON, along with four others, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor and extended an invitation for him to attend the Janmashtami celebration as Chief Guest. The event is scheduled for August 16, 2025.
