The Indian Army organized a heartwarming Christmas fair at the Relief Camp for Internally Displaced People at Sangai University in Zipki Tampak village, Churachandpur district, Manipur. The event brought joy, hope, and a sense of togetherness to over 570 people affected by the ongoing unrest in the state.
The festive fair featured an array of games, cultural performances, and entertainment, which saw enthusiastic participation from attendees, a statement released by the PRO and Defence, Ministry of Defence, Kohima said. The vibrant celebration created a sense of community and uplifted spirits during the holiday season. Additionally, essential relief items were distributed to displaced families, offering much-needed support alongside Christmas cheer.
