The International Nurses Week 2025 was observed today at the Jubilee Hall of the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal. The event was jointly organised by the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI) and the Student Nurses’ Association of India (SNAI), Manipur State Branch.
This year’s celebration was held under the theme “Our Nurses. Our Future. Caring for Nurses Strengthens Economies”, highlighting the vital role of nurses in shaping healthcare and supporting economic resilience.
The function was graced by prominent dignitaries including Director of Health Services Dr. Chambo Gonmei, Director of RIMS Prof. G. Sunil Kumar Sharma, National Vice President of TNAI Northeast Region Prof. Th. Nandarani, Chief Nursing Officer of RIMS N. Ibemhal, President of TNAI Manipur State Branch T. Tangbi Devi, and Secretary Th. Binodini.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from nurses, students, and faculty, reaffirming the commitment to strengthening the nursing profession and its impact on society.
