The Television and Cine Foundation Manipur, in collaboration with the Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI), will organise a three-day masterclass on Film Music Composition with renowned and internationally acclaimed filmmaker Aribam Syam Sharma.

The masterclass will be held from February 25 to 27, 2026, at the Conference Room Theatre (CRT) of MSFTI, Palace Gate, commencing at 3:00 pm each day. The programme aims to provide participants with in-depth insights into the art and nuances of composing music for cinema, drawing from the extensive experience of the veteran filmmaker and music composer.

According to the organisers, applications will be accepted until February 15. Interested individuals must submit an application addressed to the President of the Television and Cine Foundation Manipur, clearly stating their reasons for seeking participation in the masterclass. Applicants will be shortlisted following a screening process.

Preference will be given to music composers and filmmakers, and the number of seats is limited.

Selected participants will be required to pay a registration fee of Rs 500 and email the payment receipt to televisioncinefoundation@gmail.com. Certificates will be awarded to all participants upon successful completion of the programme.
