As part of the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), the District Administration and District Police of Pherzawl jointly organised a cycle rally at the district headquarters to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and promote a healthy lifestyle.

The rally, flagged off by ADC Pherzawl Joel G. Haokip, saw enthusiastic participation from district police personnel. Wearing NMBA-branded t-shirts, cyclists rode through the main streets carrying the campaign’s message — “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life.”

Before the rally, Additional SP Lunzamung Tungnung administered the NMBA pledge to participants, reaffirming the collective resolve to build a drug-free society.

In a related development, the Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM), Pherzawl, launched a four-day Residential Community Facilitator Induction Training at Parbung village. District Mission Manager T. Zamlunmang informed that the programme will be followed by sessions on Village Level Federation Management and Self Help Group Membership Training in the coming days.
