Manipur Police arrested two individuals along with 26.470 kilograms of contraband ganja from the Awang Sekmai area under Sekmai Police Station, Imphal West district. The arrested persons have been identified as Ramjan Ahmed Laskar (26) of Dakshin Kachudaram village, Cachar district, Assam, and Mirinshing Lunghaar (38) of Teinem Village, Ukhrul district.

In a separate operation, police also arrested an active cadre of the RPF/PLA, identified as Khongbantabam Priyobarta Meitei @ Boicha @ Tomba @ Abung (37) of Kwakeithel Kongjeng Leikai, from his residence under Singjamei Police Station, Imphal West district. A mobile phone and an Aadhaar card were seized from his possession.

Meanwhile, on October 6, 2025, Security Forces apprehended an active cadre of the KCP (PWG) from Kongpal Khaidem Leikai under Porompat Police Station, Imphal East district. The individual has been identified as Thokchom Maikel Singh @ Munan (25) of Nambol Kamong Maisnam Maning Leikai, Bishnupur district, from whom a mobile phone was recovered.
