Schools in Imphal West and Imphal East districts will reopen from June 12 after remaining closed due to recent disturbances, officials announced on Wednesday.

The decision was taken following a review of the prevailing situation by the district administrations. Authorities stated that academic activities will resume in a phased and cautious manner to ensure the safety of students and staff.

School managements have been directed to implement necessary safety protocols, while parents and guardians are urged to extend their cooperation for the smooth functioning of educational institutions.
