The state government has announced that schools across Manipur will resume normal classes starting September 17, 2024, following a review of the current situation.
The directive applies to all educational institutions in the state, including Government, Government-Aided, Private, and Central Schools.
Zonal Education Officers under the Department of Education-Schools, Manipur, have been instructed to notify all relevant parties and implement necessary arrangements to facilitate the resumption of classes.
The move comes after the Directorate of Education (Schools), Manipur, had earlier ordered the closure of all educational institutions on September 7 due to ongoing unrest and concerns over safety.
The state government has now approved the resumption of normal school operations, signaling a return to routine for students and educators across the region.
