With the situation in the State was tense but under control, security forces continued to conduct search operations to maintain law and order situation in Manipur.

Security Forces have assured movement of 181 and 30 vehicles along NH-37 and NH-2 respectively with essential items in the last 24 hours. Strict security measures were also taken up in all vulnerable locations and security convoys were also provided in sensitive stretches in order to ensure free and safe movement of the vehicles.

During the last 24 hours, a combined team of State Police and Central Forces conducted search operations and area domination in the fringe and vulnerable areas of both hill and valley districts of Manipur.

Police appealed to the general public not to believe in rumours and be aware of false videos. Police further appealed to the public to return the looted arms, ammunition and explosives to the police or nearest security forces immediately.
