In a significant counter-insurgency operation, security forces arrested three active cadres of different proscribed militant outfits from the general area of Pantha under Moreh Police Station in Tengnoupal district.

The operation was carried out as part of ongoing efforts to curb underground activities in the region.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Laisharm Rakeshwar Singh, 21, a resident of Torbung Waikhurok in Bishnupur district and an active member of PREPAK (Pro); Sharangthem Koireng, 25, from Kakmeiyai in Thoubal district, affiliated with KYKL; and Laikham Amujao Singh, also known as Salai, 22, of Sekmai in Imphal West district, who is a member of KCP (Noyon).
