A joint operation conducted by Kangpokpi District Police and 19 Assam Rifles in the Zero Point-P1 Railway Tunnel Road area (6 km north of COB Kotlen) under New Keithelmanbi Police Station led to the recovery of a cache of weapons.

Recovered items include one 9mm CMG with two magazines, two country-made single-barrel rifles, one Hand Grenade No. 36, one Motorola (Baofeng) radio.

In a separate operation on January 13, 2025, security forces recovered additional weapons and explosives from the Phayeng Ridge area between Freedom Hill and Phayeng Village. The recovered items include two bolt-action rifles, three 9mm pistols, one 0.32 pistol, one unidentified pistol, three No. 36 hand grenades, four electric detonators, three grenade detonators, various rounds of live ammunition, including .380mm, 0.22mm, and 9mm, two tear smoke shells (SR), one gas gun shell, and one tear smoke (LR). The operations were carried out under New Keithelmanbi Police Station jurisdiction.
