Manipur: Security Forces Recover Huge Arms And Exposives Cache In Bishnupur, Tengnoupal District

Security forces have recovered a substantial cache of arms and explosives during a search operation at Phougakchao Mamang Leikai, located in the adjoining area of Kolbung near the banks of the Khuga River. The cache included an AK-47 rifle with a magazine loaded with five live rounds, one 2-inch mortar, two SMG carbines with two empty magazines, two country-made 9mm pistols with accompanying magazines, three HE hand grenades (without detonators), two IED explosives, twenty explosive gelatine sticks, and five additional 9mm live rounds.

In a separate operation on Sunday, security forces conducted search operations and area domination at COB Larong in the general area of Duthang Laiching track in Tengnoupal District. There, they recovered one country-made 9mm pistol with a magazine, a country-made AK-47 with a magazine, a country-made .303 rifle, and a country-made 12 bore rifle, along with assorted ammunition.
