Security forces recovered a substantial cache of arms and ammunition from the Teising area in Churachandpur district. The recovered items include one .303 rifle, four 12-bore single-barrel guns, one 9mm pistol, one .22 rifle, one 12-bore shotgun, eleven 7.62mm rounds, five 9mm rounds, two .22 rounds, thirty-six 12-bore rounds, one .303 rifle magazine, and one pistol magazine.

In a separate operation conducted between Sarang Tampak and Hrinkhu in Chandel district, security forces seized one AK-47 rifle, one AK-47 magazine, one 9mm pistol magazine, three locally made mortars (Pompi), two live bombs of local mortars, and one single-barrel gun.

Meanwhile, the statement by Manipur Police Control room said movement of 126 and 372 nos. of vehicles carrying essential items along NH-37 and NH-2 has been ensured. Strict security measures are taken up in all vulnerable locations and security convoy is provided in sensitive stretches in order to ensure free and safe movement of the vehicles.
