In a heartwarming gesture marking the Christmas season, the Territorial Army Battalion stationed at Kangpokpi organized a special Christmas Carol singing programme for displaced Kuki families of Boljang and Sahiebung villages in Kangpokpi district.
The event was held at Sahiebung village, where Army personnel joined hands with members of the local community to celebrate the festive occasion. The programme was marked by carol singing, shared meals and warm interactions, bringing smiles and a sense of togetherness to families who have endured significant hardship.
Through the initiative, the Territorial Army sought to spread joy and hope among the displaced families, reaffirming its commitment to supporting marginalized communities and easing their challenges during difficult times.
The celebration reflected the Army’s continued efforts to foster goodwill, compassion and harmony while standing in solidarity with affected civilians in the region.
