Speaker Thomas A Sangma announced that the Meghalaya Assembly will hold its autumn session from September 8 to 12.

The announcement was made after he chaired a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the assembly.

The five-day session will include three days for government business and two days for private members’ business, Sangma said.
