Shillong, May 20: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma attended the SPARK Shillong Summit 2025, marking the successful conclusion of the program’s first pilot phase. SPARK (School Programmes in Articulation, Resilience, and Kindness) is an educational initiative designed to empower students across Meghalaya by developing essential life skills, enhancing communication, and fostering innovation and confidence.
Recognised as a best practice and a National Education Policy (NEP) success story by the Ministry of Education, the SPARK program is aimed at shaping a generation of articulate, resilient, and empathetic young leaders.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister expressed appreciation for the students who confidently shared their experiences during the summit. He congratulated the participating students, schools, Team Avenues, and the Education Department for the successful completion of the one-year pilot program.
