Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma Inaugurates Ramakrishna Mission College In Sohra

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday inaugurated the Ramakrishna Mission College at Nongthymmai, Sohra. The college, affiliated with Capt. Williamson Sangma State University, is the first Ramakrishna Mission College in the entire North East region.

The Chief Minister said the college marks a significant step in the Mission’s century-long legacy of education and social service in Meghalaya. He expressed hope that the institution would continue to inspire and empower students to lead, serve, and contribute to their communities.

During the event, CM Sangma paid floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda, noting that his ideals continue to inspire generations to serve humanity through education and social work. The Ramakrishna Mission has long been recognized for its dedication to education and community welfare in the state.
