Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Tuesday virtually inaugurated 125 community centres across various parts of the Garo Hills region. The centres, funded under the MegLife Project, were launched at Dobakol Awewong in South Garo Hills district.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by communities from across the region via video conferencing, who expressed their enthusiasm and happiness. These centres are expected to promote community harmony and act as important venues for local activities and initiatives in the area.
