Meghalaya CM Inaugurates Dalu School Building, Emphasises ₹3000 Crore Push For Youth Development

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma inaugurated the newly constructed building of Dalu Government Higher Secondary School in West Garo Hills as part of Mission Education Phase I. The two-storey facility is aimed at enhancing the state’s educational infrastructure.

In a statement on his official X handle, the Chief Minister emphasised the government’s focus on holistic development, including education, sports, music, and entrepreneurship. He mentioned that several schools and colleges have been upgraded, and the state has established its first university – Captain Williamson Sangma State University.

Sangma further noted that the government has invested nearly ₹3000 crore in youth-focused initiatives through flagship programmes like CM Elevate and PRIME. He reaffirmed the state’s commitment to the welfare and overall development of its young population.
