Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma inaugurated the newly constructed double lane steel truss bridge with a footpath over the Bakla river.

The bridge replaces the damaged existing SPT Bridge located on NH-51 leading to Megadop village under Barengapara Division, West Garo Hills District.

This development aims to improve connectivity and ensure safer travel for residents in the region.
