Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday inaugurated a new Block Integrated Development Complex at Damon Rongjeng under the Community and Rural Development (C&RD) Block in East Garo Hills district.
The new complex is part of the state government’s broader initiative to upgrade infrastructure across all Blocks in Meghalaya. The aim is to improve efficiency and provide a better work environment for government teams working at the grassroots level.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the government’s continued efforts to develop staff quarters in various locations to support field officials engaged in public service delivery.
