Meghalaya: Former CM – Mukul Sangma Committed “Blunder” Joining TMC; Alleges NPP Leader – WR Kharlukhi

The state president of the National Peoples’ Party (NPP) and Rajya Sabha MP – WR Kharlukhi, noted that the former Meghalaya Chief Minister – Mukul Sangma, committed a “blunder” by joining the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC).

Addressing the media persons, Kharlukhi stated, “In the Congress, Mukul Sangma is a contender for the throne, but in the AITC, he will serve as a mere supporter of somebody who is a contender for the throne.”

Further talking about the prospects of the former chief minister, the NPP state president said, “In the Congress, I would have agreed that he is a contender, but in the AITC, I don’t see him even eyeing the throne.”

Dr. Kharlukhi said that joining the AITC was a political blunder made by Mukul Sangma.
