Shillong, May 15: The Government of Meghalaya has sanctioned ₹1 crore to Dr. H. Gordon Roberts Hospital in Shillong as the first installment under the Meghalaya Health Advancement Policy. The funding is part of a ₹2 crore financial aid package aimed at empowering non-government hospitals in the state.
The initiative seeks to enhance healthcare delivery and strengthen medical infrastructure. The government also acknowledged the hospital’s 103 years of dedicated service to the people of Meghalaya.
