Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma stated that the state government has invested more than Rs 5,000 crore in road and bridge infrastructure over the past seven years.
At an event in Resubelpara, North Garo Hills, Sangma highlighted that this investment aims to enhance connectivity, empower women, and create opportunities for the youth.
He added that these projects have improved access for rural communities to markets, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities, aiding the state’s overall growth.
