Agartala, June 04, 2025: A three-member delegation from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) conducted an extensive field visit across several blocks in Tripura on Tuesday, including Mungiakami R.D. Block and Tulashikar Block, to assess the progress of key development initiatives.

The central team inspected ongoing projects under various government schemes, with a special focus on PM-JANMAN housing, the Jal Jeevan Mission, the Atharamura VC Model Village, and projects supported by the Panchayat Development Fund. The visit aimed to evaluate on-ground implementation and impact.

According to Mungiakami Block Development Officer (BDO) Diptanu Debbarma, the officials interacted directly with local residents and scheme beneficiaries to gather firsthand feedback.

In Khowai district, the team concentrated on development efforts in Aspirational Blocks — Padmabil, Tulashikar, and Mungiakami. Official sources confirmed that the delegation had already visited several other blocks as part of their ongoing review.

The team is expected to present its findings and recommendations to the State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (SIPARD), highlighting both achievements and areas needing improvement.
