A recruitment rally for enrolment in the Indian Army under the Agniveer Scheme was successfully conducted at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium by the Army Recruiting Office, Aizawl Mizoram with effect from 07 Aug 2025 to 08 Aug 2025. Approx 461 candidates from various districts of the Mizoram State participated in the rally.

The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from eligible youth who had earlier registered online. Candidates underwent Physical Fitness Tests, Physical Measurement Tests, Medical Examinations, and Documentation Verification, in accordance with the laid-down recruitment procedures under Agnipath Scheme.

The event was organized with the aim of providing opportunity to the motivated and capable youth of the region to serve the nation as part of the Indian Army.

The Indian Army extended its appreciation to the civil administration, local authorities, and the people of Mizoram for their cooperation and support in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the rally on culmination of the rally.
