Assam Rifles, in coordination with the Excise and Narcotics Department, has seized 220.130 grams of Heroin No. 4, estimated to be worth ₹1.54 crore, from the Zote area in Champhai district.

Two women were arrested in connection with the drug haul. Authorities are investigating the origins and intended destination of the narcotics as part of ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking in the region.
