Assam Rifles personnel seized 19.2 grams of Heroin No. 4 valued at approximately ₹14.4 lakh in the Zote area of Champhai district on June 16, 2025.

One individual was apprehended in connection with the seizure. Both the accused and the confiscated narcotics were handed over to the Excise and Narcotics Department, Champhai, for further investigation and legal action.
