Rozgar Mela is an initiative to fulfill the commitment to generating employment opportunities for the youth at various central government departments. In line with the recruitment mission, the Mizoram Chief Minister – Zoramthanga handed out appointment letters to 34 recruits at the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Monday.

The state government recruited these junior officers through Mizoram Civil Service (Combined Competitive Exam) 2022 along the Civil, Police, Information, and Finance & Accounts Services. He advised the new officers to follow the ideal of service to the nation and the people.

During the ceremony, the CM handed over 34 appointment letters to new junior officers of Mizoram Civil Service (14), Mizoram Police Service (8), Mizoram Information Service (4), and Mizoram Finance & Accounts Service (8).

The Chief Secretary – Dr. Renu Sharma, Home Secretary – H. Lalengmawia, Secretary to CM – K. Lalthawmmawia, DP&AR Secretary – R. Lalramnghaka, Finance Commissioner – Vanlal Chhuanga, and other officials were present during the ceremony.

It is worth noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi instructed to line out ten lakhs employment opportunities within 1.5 years in various central government departments.
