Aizawl, May 16: Director of ICAR-ATARI Zone VII, Dr. Amulya Kumar Mohanty, along with Joint Director Dr. Sunil Doley and Dr. Lungmuana, Senior Scientist (Soil Science) from ICAR-Research Centre for NEH Region, Mizoram Centre, visited the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Hnahthial on Thursday.

During the visit, the officials inspected the KVK office premises and the Green House facility. Dr. Mohanty addressed the gathering and was presented with an overview of various activities and initiatives undertaken by KVK Hnahthial. A special presentation highlighted the centre’s preparations for the upcoming Pre-Kharif Campaign under the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan.

Further discussions were held regarding the necessary steps to be taken in preparation for the campaign. The event was attended by Senior Scientists and Heads of KVKs from Aizawl, Serchhip, Lawngtlai, and Siaha districts.
