Mizoram Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation Minister K Sapdanga met Union Housing, Urban Affairs and Power Minister Manohar Lal in New Delhi on Friday to discuss key initiatives for urban development in the state, an official release said.

During the meeting, both ministers emphasised the need for proper drainage systems in urban areas to address flooding issues. Sapdanga also raised concerns about solid waste management in Mizoram and sought the Centre’s support to enhance urban infrastructure across the state.
