Aizawl, May 31: Mizoram has confirmed two new Covid-19 infections, marking the first cases reported in the state after a seven-month interval, health officials said.

The patients are currently receiving treatment at Zoram Medical College and Hospital (ZMCH) in Falkawn, near Aizawl.

The state last reported Covid-19 cases in October 2024, when 73 people tested positive.
