Aizawl, May 24: Lalnghinglova Hmar, Minister of State for Tourism, Mizoram, highlighted the vast tourism potential of the Northeast while addressing a technical session titled “Northeast: The New Hub of Tourism and Hospitality” at the Rising Northeast Investors Summit. He underscored Mizoram’s status as one of the most peaceful states in the country.
Hmar also shared that Mizoram has recently achieved the distinction of being declared the first fully literate state in India. He added that the state offers unique attractions in adventure tourism, contributing to its growing appeal among travelers.
The minister attributed the progress in the tourism sector to ongoing improvements in infrastructure across the state.
